Young people hold the key to creating a better future. The purpose of the Supporting Future Generations Campaign is to invest in our future with easy and inclusive ways to build awareness and take action. It's time to break down the generational stereotypes and start thinking and acting long-term to make intergenerational parity the norm. Young people today are coming to age in a world beset by crises. Even before the pandemic devastated lives and livelihoods around the world, the same prosperity that enabled global progress is now creating the inequality, social discord and climate change we see today.
Faced with huge debts, a widening generational wealth gap, a lack of meaningful employment opportunities, and a planet on the brink of catastrophe - young people are right to be deeply concerned and angry. They are the most important and most affected stakeholders when we're talking about our global future and also the best placed to lead this transformation. But, the next generation needs help. We are living together in a global village and there is an urgent need for us all to take action.
